On November 13 and 14, a Workshop for Subnational Technical Teams was held at the Antofagasta Hotel in the city of the same name. The purpose was to follow up on the work plan of the Master Plan for Integration and Development of the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor (PM-CBC).<\/p>\n
To validate and guide the progress and next steps of the ongoing actions and studies, the opening day was reserved initially for a public-private informational session, including a space for the presentation of benefits and opportunities of the CBC as seen by the subnational territories and the private sector of Antofagasta.<\/p>\n
Participants included the technical teams from the eight subnational territories: Salta and Jujuy from Argentina; Mato Grosso Do Sul from Brazil; Antofagasta and Tarapac\u00e1 from Chile; and Boquer\u00f3n, Alto Paraguay, and Presidente Hayes from Paraguay. Additionally, there were representatives from the public sector of the National Government of Chile and the Regional Governments of Antofagasta and Tarapac\u00e1. Also present were actors from the private sector and academia of Antofagasta, as well as the technical team from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).<\/p>\n
Regarding the meeting of subnational technical teams, the topics addressed in the various tables were aligned with the three study dimensions of the PM-CBC:<\/p>\n
Block 1:<\/strong> Trade Facilitation and Cross-Border Processes Block 2:<\/strong> Physical and Digital Infrastructure Block 3:<\/strong> Productive Development Dimension<\/p>\n The final segment of the Workshop was reserved for the Forum’s Executive Committee, dedicated to discussing the development of a communication strategy and the establishment of coordination and monitoring mechanisms for the PM-CBC.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" On November 13 and 14, a Workshop for Subnational Technical Teams was held at the Antofagasta Hotel in the city of the same name.
