Objetive<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event aimed to strengthen regional integration among the territories that make up the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor, promoting cooperation and the design and implementation of joint projects. The Forum’s work focuses on strategic areas such as infrastructure, trade and cross-border processes, tourism, health and education, municipalities, citizen participation, indigenous peoples, and security, with the aim of improving physical and digital connectivity, boosting economic growth, and achieving the well-being of its communities.<\/p>\n

During the Forum, the Governors’ Summit and Working Committee sessions were held, as well as multiple panels and conferences given by specialists on strategic issues for the Corridor.\u00a0 (Ver video institucional<\/a>)<\/p>\n

October 8 \u2013 Presentation of the Master Plan and Official Ceremony<\/u><\/p>\n

Reception at the Government House<\/strong>
\nIn the morning, host Governor Carlos Sadir welcomed the invited governors, senior national authorities, and representatives of international organizations to the Government House. The meeting included a formal breakfast and the official photo, as part of the institutional welcome and exchange prior to the Forum’s public activities.<\/p>\n

Presentation of the Master Plan for the Integration and Development of the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor (PM-CBC) at the Cultural City<\/strong>
\nBefore an audience of more than 700 people, the progress made in the development of the PM-CBC, prepared with technical and financial support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), was presented. During the presentation, the diagnoses and proposals to facilitate trade and optimize cross-border processes were announced, highlighting the work carried out by more than 630 representatives from the public and private sectors, who identified 230 opportunities for improvement and defined 260 priority actions. In addition, the results of studies on physical and digital infrastructure were presented, identifying more than 100 projects. Progress was also reported on the design of future studies on productive and commercial development, which will be addressed in the coming months. \nWith the arrival of the official delegations at the Cultural City, the formal inauguration of the VII Forum took place, in which governors, ambassadors, and representatives of international organizations delivered opening remarks. (Video del Acto Oficial<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Working Committees<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the afternoon of Wednesday, August 8, the various Working Committees held their meetings in the rooms of the Cultural City complex, where more than 400 public officials and representatives of the private sector from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Paraguay worked together on the Forum’s main themes.<\/p>\n
