The initiative aims to strengthen the internationalization of businesses led by women, expand commercial opportunities and strengthen ties between Brazil and the neighboring country.<\/p>\n<p>The participants are part of the Sebrae Delas program, which fosters female entrepreneurship. In it, they are accompanied on the Global Journey, aimed at companies seeking internationalization. According to the technical director of Sebrae\/MS, Sandra Amarilha, the mission to Argentina marks the end of a pilot project started in 2024, with a focus on preparing women entrepreneurs for the opportunities arising from the implementation of the Bioceanic Route, which will connect Brazil to Chilean ports, also including Paraguay and Argentina.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We started our mission with our trip to Iquique, Chile, last year. Later, this group of the Global Journey was in Paraguay, Ciudad del Este and Asunci\u00f3n, getting to know that market. And now we conclude in Argentina, because the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor is a reality and an opportunity for small businesses in Mato Grosso do Sul. Our entrepreneurs have been preparing all this time to negotiate in these markets. We internationalize minds and businesses. It is with great satisfaction that we end this pilot project with results for women in Mato Grosso do Sul&#8221;, highlights Amarilha.<\/p>\n<p>The program in Argentina includes institutional agendas with the Government House and authorities from the province of Jujuy, as well as an institutional and business meeting in Salta, technical visits to the Argentine-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and the Brazilian Embassy in Buenos Aires, business sessions with the presentation of products and services to Argentine buyers, as well as cultural activities aimed at bringing the delegations closer together.<\/p>\n<p>Participating in the mission are the businesswomen from MS: Carla Aquino (Elas Lideram o Agro), Denise Silva (Bruaca Neg\u00f3cios), Fabiana Duarte (Maxbrio), Fernanda Persi (Malinha da Fer), Paula Tenuta (Tenuta Advogados Associados), Monkysa Melo (Stude\u014d), Claudia de Medeiros (Sapicu\u00e1 Pantaneiro), Dayana Bizi (Bizi \u00c1gua de Coco), Margareth Mello (Pontal das \u00c1guas), Jullyanna Morais (Caf\u00e9 Abelha) and Susi Macedo (19 MS Accounting).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Six months of preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be ready for negotiations in Argentina, the businesswomen underwent consultancies with individual diagnosis and training on topics such as export and import advantages, prospecting and selection of target market, commercial agreements, service to international customers, logistics solutions and pricing. The script also included simulation of an international business round and a business pitch test.<\/p>\n<p>The manager of the Sebrae Delas program, V\u00e2nia Bispo Torraca, details the volume of training offered to participants throughout 2026: there were 24 hours of mentoring focused on practical preparation for the international market, 31 hours of consulting in export or import \u2013 depending on the objective of each company \u2013 to identify countries of interest and priority markets, in addition to 20 hours of training in import, export, pricing, among others. The work also involved the preparation of pitch, portfolio, visual identity and communication and sales channels, added to the articulation with the three Argentine provinces that receive the entrepreneurs. In all, there were six months of preparation.<\/p>\n<p>For the manager, the most visible result is not only in the numbers, but in the attitude of the participants. &#8220;What is most noticeable is the security that these entrepreneurs show after these six months, in speech, in posture, in decision-making. And courage. Courage to present herself as the owner of the business, who knows where she is stepping and what she wants. They know where they want to go, and the world is their backyard,&#8221; she says.<\/p>\n<p>The Sebrae\/MS consultant in the area of foreign trade, Andrea Afif, closely follows the evolution of the entrepreneurs in each edition of the Global Journey and highlights the technical maturity of the group. &#8220;Each year that passes, the profile of the entrepreneurs is improving more and more technically. They are already well positioned in the domestic market and now seek the foreign market&#8221;, she evaluates.<\/p>\n<p>According to Andrea, the preparation for Argentina followed a structured plan based on an individual diagnosis of each business, focusing on pricing, company disclosure, issues related to the export of products and services, and posture in negotiation rounds. For the consultant, technical preparation is only part of the process. &#8220;It&#8217;s not just the issue of the technical part that I go through, of procedure, but the empowerment of these women so that they are ready to face the unknown and do well, have flexibility and move forward,&#8221; she concludes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>History<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The mission to Argentina marks the third edition of the Global Journey, an initiative launched by Sebrae\/MS in 2024 within the Sebrae Delas program, with the objective of expanding connections with new markets and strengthening the insertion of Mato Grosso do Sul in the Bioceanic Route. The choice of destinations followed this strategy: Chile (2024), Paraguay (2025) and Argentina (2026).<\/p>\n<p>In the first edition, held from October 19 to 25, 2024 in Iquique, Chile, 11 businesswomen participated in an agenda that included meetings with the Free Trade Zone, the Port of Iquique, among other points, resulting in more than R$ 880 thousand in business prospecting.
