CBC Trade Exchange Workshop

The Regional Government, within the framework of the implementation of the Bioceanic Corridor, carried out the “Workshop on Trade Exchanges between Chile, Brazil and Argentina”.
This activity is part of the process of consolidation of the Bioceanic Corridor and as well as the pro tempore presidency of the Forum of the Subnational Territories of the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor held by the regional governor, Ricardo Díaz. This seeks to contribute to the strengthening of territorial development and open new opportunities for the economic diversification of the region to the regional industry of agri-food products, as well as the import of goods and services from cross-border territories, with the aim of advancing in the reduction of the prices of food and other products.
During this week, the region received the visit of a delegation from the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, and the province of Jujuy, Argentina, as well as local businessmen, with the purpose of reporting on the formation of the TriAndes Group Corporation, who presented the work developed and their actions in the short and medium term.
