Monday October 26th, 2026
From November 24 to 26, 2026, Antofagasta and Mejillones will bring together authorities, companies, academia and civil society from Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Paraguay. There will be working commissions, the presentation of the Master Plan, a Business Fair and a Business Roundtable. Registration is now open and places are limited.
The Antofagasta Region, which holds the Pro Tempore Presidency of the Forum, will host the VIII Forum of the Subnational Territories of the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor (CBC). For three days, the eight subnational governments that make up the Corridor will work together with national authorities, the private sector, universities and civil society organizations.
The Forum is the only space in which the territories of the four countries of the Corridor sit down at the same table to define common priorities. Among these priorities are logistics and ports, the facilitation of border crossings, physical and digital infrastructure, foreign trade, security, tourism and the productive development of an axis that links the Atlantic with the Pacific.

About the Forum
The Forum of the Subnational Territories of the Bioceanic Corridor of Capricorn is the coordination space for the subnational governments of Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Paraguay that make up the Corridor. It works in coordination with the Quadripartite Working Group of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Bioceanic Road Corridor and has the technical support of the IDB. Its thematic commissions turn the integration agenda into agreements and concrete projects for the region.
