More than 100 students from the Technical School “Ing. Herminio Arrieta”, of Libertador General San Martín, participated in an informative talk about the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor (CBC), its scope and the opportunities for economic, productive, logistical, tourism and social development that it represents for Jujuy.
The presentation was given by Alejandro Marenco, executive secretary of the Provincial Agency of the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor, who was invited by the educational institution to share information about this South American integration project that links Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Paraguay.
During the meeting, the geopolitical location of Jujuy and its strategic role in the connectivity between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans were addressed. The possibilities offered by the Corridor to promote new economic activities, attract investments and generate opportunities for training and labor insertion were also analyzed.
The day led to an exchange with the students, who actively participated through questions and concerns about the challenges and prospects for the development of the province in the regional scenario.
Highlighting the value of the Bioceanic Corridor
The Provincial Agency highlighted the importance of bringing these issues closer to the new generations, especially those who are studying technical studies, due to their potential participation in the future processes of productive, technological and logistical transformation of Jujuy.
The meeting made it possible to highlight the value of the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor not only as a means of international connectivity, but also as an opportunity for territorial development, in which the knowledge and preparation of new generations play a relevant role.
