The Governors and representatives present highlighted the establishment of the Sustainability Commission and the Citizen Participation Commission, with a Gender and Indigenous Peoples Perspective, as a strategic and social advancement in the development of the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor.

Presided over by José Miguel Carvajal Gallardo, Regional Governor of Tarapacá, the governors and representatives of the subnational states reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor from their territories as a catalyst for regional integration, promoting sustainable development and connectivity among the participating states, and as an opportunity to improve the quality of life for their inhabitants.

Throughout the event, the initiative by the IDB, developed in Salta, Antofagasta, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Boquerón, was commended. Consultations were held with the IDB representatives Leonardo Diniz and the head of the Master Plan, Alejandra Rald, on a plan of action that includes strengthening governmental management and infrastructure, both physical and digital. Furthermore, the importance of the private sector in the development of the Corridor was recognized, and previous work with private actors was highlighted, paving the way for future collaborations.
